Am Samstag 24. Juli 2021, gingen über 10.000 Menschen für Berlins erste internationalistische, antirassistische, antikoloniale und antikapitalistische Pride Parade auf die Straße. Die Demo, die am selben Tag wie der Christopher Street Day Parade stattfand, war die vielfältigste queere Pride-Demonstration aller Zeiten in Berlin und brachte verschiedene queere Communities unter dem Banner “Keine*r von uns ist frei, bis wir alle frei sind” zusammen. Mehr als 450 Zuschauer*innen verfolgten die Demonstration per Livestream.
Berlins queere Bewegung hat damit einen Meilenstein erreicht. Im Jahr 2019 riefen die Veranstalter*innen einer sogenannten “radikalen” Pride Demo die Polizei, um pro-palästinensische Queers aus der Demo entfernen zu lassen. In 2021 hallten dieselben Straßen Kreuzbergs von Tausenden von Demonstrierenden wider, die “Free, Free Palestine”, “Hoch die Internationale Solidarität” und “Aqui, está, la resistencia trans!” skandierten.

On Saturday 24 July 2021, over 10,000 people took to the streets for Berlin’s first Internationalist, anti-racist, anti-colonial, anti-capitalist Pride march. Held on the same day as the mainstream Christopher Street Day parade, the march was the most representative queer Pride demonstration ever to take place in the city, bringing together diverse queer communities under the banner “none of us are free, until all of us are free”. More than 450 viewers joined the simultaneous livestream.
Berlin’s queer movement has hit a milestone. In 2019 police were called to remove pro-Palestinian queers from a so-called “radical Pride” march. This year the very same streets echoed with thousands of marchers chanting “Free, Free Palestine”, “Hoch die Internationale Solidarität” and “Aqui, está, la resistencia trans!”

Este año estamos organizando con nuestres amigues la primer demo del Orgullo LGBTIQP2S Anticolonial en Berlín el 24.07.2021 en las calles de Berlín (y en línea).

Wir können es kaum erwarten, zusammen mit euch eine radikale, queere, antirassistische Pride Parade in Berlin auf die Beine zu stellen und dort mit euch zu skandieren und Dabke tanzen!
